Ghost hits the big screen! The famous Swedish heavy metal band is bringing its first feature film to theaters this summer. Entitled " Rite Here Rite Now ", the film is much more than a concert movie. At least, that's what's announced on the event's official website.
Captured during the Scandinavian band's two sold-out shows at Los Angeles' Kia Forum last September, " Rite Here Rite Now " combines Ghost 's live performance from the "Re-Imperatour" " with a narrative story that picks up on the plot threads of the band's long-running webisode series ". The result? We're treated to a " phantasmagorical mix " of live performances from the best of Ghost 's five albums and the film debuts of several familiar faces.
Directed by Alex Ross Perry and Ghost frontman Tobias Forge, " Rite Here Rite Now " hits cinemas in France on Sunday, June 23, 2024.
In Paris and Île-de-France, several cinemas have announced the screening of Ghost's first feature film, including Pathé Quai d'Ivry, Pathé Opéra Premier, Pathé Wepler, Pathé Massy and Pathé Carré Sénart. For a list of partner cinemas and ticketing details, visit the dedicated website.
