Terrifier 3, Damien Leone's bloody new chapter, marks the return of the terrifying Art the Clown, determined to make Christmas a massacre. In theaters October 9, 2024, this horror-film reunites David Howard Thornton, Lauren LaVera and Elliott Fullam in a fight against evil.

After two cult installments in horror cinema, Art the Clown returns in Terrifier 3, directed and written by Damien Leone. Opening in cinemas on October 9, 2024, this third opus promises to raise the bar in terms of thrills and gore. The infamous clown, played by David Howard Thornton, is back in action, ready to turn the holiday season into an absolute nightmare for Sienna (played by Lauren LaVera) and her brother Jonathan(Elliott Fullam), having already left his bloody mark on previousHalloween nights.

After narrowly surviving the horrific events of Halloween perpetrated by Art the Clown, Sienna and her brother Jonathan are trying to resume their normal lives. As Christmas approaches, they try to put their traumatic experiences behind them and rebuild their lives. But their peace of mind doesn't last long. Art the Clown, indestructible and thirsty for violence, resurfaces for a new series of massacres, this time transforming the Christmas festivities into a veritable butchery. With his sharp weapons and macabre smile, he'll stop at nothing to plunge Sienna and her brother into a new bloody hell.

Terrifier 3 is aimed at fans ofextreme horror and slasher films, especially those who were seduced by the first two installments of the saga. Fans of franchises such as Halloween and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre will also appreciate the mounting tension and relentless brutality of Art the Clown. What makes Art particularly terrifying is his total lack of empathy and his macabre taste for torture, all without ever uttering a word, thus reinforcing the frightening aspect of his character.

The originality of this new opus lies in the contrast between the festive atmosphere of Christmas and the graphic violence that follows. By transposing the horror of the sadistic clown into the context of the festive season, Damien Leone creates a disturbing blend of gaiety and terror that is sure to leave a lasting impression. The film could thus join the ranks of horror films that exploit the most unexpected moments to sow fear, like Black Christmas or Krampus.

With David Howard Thornton reprising his terrifying role and a strong cast, Terrifier 3 promises to be one of the great horrific events of the year. This new opus from Damien Leone promises to turn Christmas into a bloody carnage, while keeping the tension at its peak. Available in cinemas from October 9, 2024, Terrifier 3 is a must-see for horror fans who don't shy away.
