November's cinema event is the 30th edition of the Paris LGBTQIA+ film festival. Since 2009, the Chéries-Chéris festival has been an avant-garde cultural event that breaks down boundaries and celebrates differences.
This year, visit the MK2 Beaubourg, MK2 Quai de Seine and MK2 Bibliothèque cinemas from 15 to November 26, 2024, to discover a jam-packed program! No fewer than 75 feature-length films (fiction or documentary) and 80 short films dealing with homosexuality and transidentity will be on offer to the public, and the competition to win one of the seven prizes awarded by the jury will be tough!
In the Feature Fiction category, there's the Grand Prix, Jury Prize and Interpretation Award. Feature-length documentaries are eligible for the Grand Prix and Jury Prize, while short films are in competition for the Grand Prix, Jury Prize and Special Mentions.
Thanks to the maturity it has acquired over the years, and its growing international reputation, Chéries-Chéris is now one of the leading festivals for the film genre it champions. The program for this 30th edition is already shaping up to be vibrant, and will be unveiled in a month's time, so stay tuned!
