The not-to-be-missed event for board sports enthusiasts returns with a major announcement: La Nuit de la Glisse will be screened on November 16, 2023 at 8:30pm at the prestigious Grand Rex in Paris. And for the first time in its history, the film will be broadcast simultaneously across Europe the following day.
The evening promises 2h30 of total immersion in the world of extreme sports. Headlining the evening is Human X, the latest documentary film directed by Thierry Donard. The film highlights the tremendous sporting resilience of athletes in the face of growing climatic challenges, revealing their ability to brave the most perilous conditions.
Human X features a range of adventures: from the dazzling aerial ballet of French speed riders Valentin Delluc and Ugo Gerola, to the audacity of Canadians Ryan McIntosh and Christopher Beaton on their Mountain Bikes, to brothers Kerby and Cortney Brown daring to surf powerful waves in just 40 cm of water. Not forgetting young Chamonix talents such as Zian Perrot-Coutet, Mathieu Moullier and Gaspard Ravanel, promising steep-slope riders.
In addition to the flagship film, the public will also be able to enjoy exclusive behind-the-scenes footage of the filming, as well as the NDG Film Festival with a screening of selected short films. As an added bonus, a competition will offer the chance to win sumptuous prizes, such as round-trip trips to Tahiti or a stay in Chamonix for two.
Whether you're a long-time fan or new to the world of board sports, this evening promises to sweep you away in a whirlwind of emotions, thrills and inspiration. Mark your calendars for November 16 and get ready to experience the real thrill of sliding.
