Women will be in the spotlight at the cinema next week, with the Wednesday, March 26, 2014 release of Les Gazelles, a new feature film by Mona Achache. The cast is deliberately very feminine, including Camille Chamoux, Audrey Fleurot, Anne Brochet, Joséphine de Meaux, Nidra Ayadi.
On the occasion of the exceptional preview, on Monday March 24 at 8:30pm at the Gaumont Opéra, in the presence of the director and the actresses, Sortiraparis is offering you the chance to win a few invitations!
Male-female relationships are highlighted in the film, as the director explains: "Post-feminism has spawned new relationships between men and women, and it's this modern bond that we dissect in the film. The harshness of love relationships today is comparable to the harshness of the working world, and it's also for this analogy that we set the film at the Pôle Emploi."
The synopsis:
Marie and Eric, thirty-somethings who have been a couple since high school, are signing the purchase contract for their first apartment when Marie is seized by a dizzying doubt. When she meets a handsome, dark-haired man, her decision is precipitated: she leaves Eric to dive into the deep end of pleasure and freedom. But above all, she's going to eat the bottom of the pool... And discover a world without pity: at her age, celibacy is quickly perceived as a suspect taint. Enlightened by new friendships, Marie will learn to see her celibacy as an opportunity from which she can emerge stronger, and finally ready to be happy.
