In the gaming world, anticipation is running high as start-up Unsolved Enigmas prepares to launch"The Golden Elixir," an incredible international wine-themed treasure hunt. The competition, supported by prestigious partners such as the Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte, the Petit Futé and the Cité du Vin, is open to all and translated into seven different languages. Co-author of theÉlixir d'Or, Etienne Picand, points out that the event highlights French wine history and heritage, a unifying theme embodying the French art of living.

The huge prize at stake is La Cave du Comte de Saint-Germain, worth 100,000 euros, provided by more than forty renowned French wineries. The cellar, on display at the Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte for the duration of the treasure hunt, contains exceptional wines, including Louis XVI vintages and the famous Domus Maximus 2000, best wine in the world in 2005. It also houses wines from the estates of celebrities such as George Lucas(Skywalker Vineyards) and John Malkovich(Les Quelles de la Coste), ambassadors for the project.

To participate, treasure hunters must solve six riddles designed by the Count of Saint-Germain, with no special skills required. Patience and perseverance are the key words to find the exact location of the buried chest. The first person to dig in the right place and unearth the chest will win the incredible loot of 3583 bottles, marking the end of the hunt.

This bold initiative aims not only to enhance French heritage, but also to pass on a piece of French history. The winner will have the choice of taking possession of the bottles or the proceeds from the auction of the cellar. Dominique Auzias, founder of Le Petit Futé, describes theÉlixir d'Or as an invitation to travel, a way to (re)discover the riches of French heritage.

Founded by Etienne Picand and Simon Couasse in 2022, Unsolved Enigmas is a team of enthusiasts who offer unique and immersive gaming experiences. Their treasure hunts are distinguished by scenarios rich in history and mystery, immersing participants in varied and captivating worlds. TheGolden Elixir is no exception, promising an unforgettable adventure that combines games, history and oenology.
