A family treasure hunt to discover the state forest of La Grange in Yerres (91)

13 kilometers south-east of Paris, the state forest of La Grange connects the Val-de-Marne and Essonne, between the castles of Grosbois and La Grange: rather unknown, the association Au Fil de l'Eau decided to remedy this by proposing a treasure hunt combining a walk and nature observation, to discover one of the most beautiful green spaces of the Ile-de-France with the children

Let's go for a 2 hours treasure hunt, to be done quietly or in a more sportive way (you choose!) on a part of the Tégéval, this 20 kilometers long green corridor in the Val-de-Marne and in Essonne (from now on called the Végétale), in the state forest of La Grange!

The organizers of the association au Fil de l'Eau have organized a treasure hunt near the Maréchal de Saxe castle in Yerres: on the program, you can discover the fauna and flora of this natural area in spring andsummer, learn to recognize the different species of trees, birds, and see the evolution of the landscape... With the family and with children from 7 years old! Put on good shoes and don't forget to take water, cap and sun cream: let's go for the adventure in the forest of the Grange!

Count 2 € per person participating in the treasure hunt, knowing that several sessions are already planned for the months of May and June 2023: Wednesdays May 24, June 7 and June 28 at 10 am. Don't forget to register on theExplore Paris website, and then go to the Maréchal de Saxe castle, in Yerres, in Essonne, to start this unusual treasure hunt, in the heart of the Ile-de-France forest!
