In 2025, Pokémon GO celebrates its 9th birthday, and boasts several million players every day around the world. This popularity is due in part to the success of the Pokémon franchise, which continues to appeal to children and adults alike. Pokémon GO also captures players' attention with regular events and updates that bring new features and challenges.
To enthuse fans, the game developed by Niantic also organizes a major festival every year. England, Germany, Japan, Spain, United States... Each edition highlights three cities, where players can gather to meet, compete against each other and obtain special rewards.
This summer 2025, the Pokémon GO Fest takes place in Osaka, Japan (May 29 to June 1, 2025), Jersey City, USA (June 6 to 8, 2025)... And in Paris, France, from June 13 to 15, 2025!
Pokéballers, arm yourselves with your Pokéballs, and come and enjoy this great playful event organized in the capital. No details on this Parisian event have yet been revealed. What we do know is that there will be a charge for admission ; prices are expected to be announced in March 2025. In Madrid in 2024, tickets ranged from 27 to 32 euros, and were only valid for half a day.
Based on previous editions, we can imagine what the Pokémon GO Fest in Paris will be like. In London, as in Madrid and Berlin, players gathered in a large city park to capture little monsters.
In addition to in-game events, the London event featured a hot-air balloon decorated in Pokémon GO colors, installed near Tower Bridge. There were also special decorations in the park, a bus showing episodes of the cartoon, a wall of plush toys and a pop-up store.
In Madrid, players could pick up a host of goodies from stands, take part in quizzes, take photos with the inflatable Pokémon set up in the park, meet influencers, and take part in a soccer event.
The same program was held in Berlin in 2022, where players enjoyed boutiques, photo spots, meetings with influencers, quests and team games...
And to round off the festival, Niantic and The Pokémon Company are still organizing a major global festival. In major cities around the world, players can meet up and enjoy special events, with never-before-seen rewards, raid battles, rare Pokémos or Chromatic Pokémos to capture...
