232 rue de Rivoli, facing the Tuileries, has opened a Ladurée store dedicated to teas and home perfumes. The very first store of the brand not far from its historical tea house on the Champs-Elysées.
Everyone knows Ladurée more for its macarons than its teas and yet, the tea adventure is closely bound to the story of the House. Yes, it is! No tea house without tea! And to better accompany macarons and other sweet treats, there’s nothing quite like a sophisticated tea (except maybe champagne, I must tell).
To meet tearoom regulars’ needs Ladurée has created this store so that you can get all the teas served at the salon as well as new creations available on the spot only.
The Ladurée tea collection is created by great specialists. Exclusively created for the house, it evolves around four categories:
Let yourself be tempted by the famous Ladurée special blend: a black tea from China with citrus fruits hints, flowers, light spices and vanilla. Connoisseurs will turn to the Marie-Antoinette tea, a black tea delicately flavored with rose, citrus fruits and honey.
Moving on to the gourmet varieties, we find the Amande [Almond], the Caramel, the Rose, the Vanille [Vanilla], the Violette and the Jardin Bleu Royal with cornflower and marigold petals.
Classic teas connoisseurs are not left out since Earl Grey, Lapsang Souchoung, Darjeeling and Sencha await them.
In addition to teas, the store features lovely teapots and cups, especially created for the brand.
Facing teas, you’ve got the Ladurée home beauty collection. Scented candles for your home and some are the same fragrances as teas. You can also go for the home perfumes wonderfully set in lovely in ancient flasks, incenses and scented baubles.
How about taking a walk there, friends?
