Want a shiatsu massage in the rules of the art? Let's go to Suisen Spa, an establishment located in the 3rd arrondissement of Paris that offers a whole series of treatments and services for a privileged moment with oneself. A Japanese spa drivenby "a holistic vision of well-being", putting shiatsu at the heart of the house's treatment protocols.

Shiatsu, a"thousand-year-old tradition that combines a moment of well-being with numerous physical and mental health benefits" and a desire of the massage salon to highlight all the benefits by offering a whole range of teas directly from Japan, from organic producers. Teas that offer"a variety of taste qualities and health benefits" and a global well-being experience, in short, for absolute relaxation and a moment close to meditation.

Four treatments are offered in solo or duo cabins:

  • Wa, harmony - Traditional Shiatsu

This treatment takes place on tatami and futon, dressed in a Jinbei outfit, a large traditional Japanese garment. You will receive rhythmic pressure, percussion, stretching and effleurage on the whole body. This traditional massage balances your energies, stimulates your circulation and your immune system. It allows you a deep physical, psychic and emotional relaxation. Harmonized and energized, the body finds its unity, in accordance with the season. This is a treatment that we have tested and which seduced us by its invigorating and dynamic side. Pressure is applied to the different meridians for a feeling of well-being at the end of the massage. All this is accompanied by Kukicha tea, ideal for tiredness.

  • Jaku, quietude - Shiatsu with aromatic oil

This is a full body massage with aromatic oil, on a massage table, designed to release your tension points through targeted pressure and techniques. All the oils used are organic and of first cold pressure. Through touch and smell, this treatment brings you deep relaxation and soothes all your muscular tensions.

  • Sei, purity - Youthful face care

Combining well-being and beauty, this facial massage is composed of different kneading techniques and pressure on the tsubos, the body's energy windows. It focuses on the face, neck, neckline, arms and hands, but also takes into account the entire body for a global relaxation. This treatment tones the skin, refines its texture and erases signs of fatigue and expression lines. Perfectly relaxed, your face regains freshness, luminosity and firmness.

  • Kei, respect - Firming of the figure

Focused on the lower body, brushing with the tawashi, a sponge made of vegetable fibers, activates microcirculation and refines the skin texture. It is followed by a massage with aromatic oil, combining different techniques of kneading, palpating-rolling, pinching and smoothing. This treatment provides an intense sensation of lightness. It detoxifies the tissues, firms the lower body, smoothes out dimples and harmonizes the figure.

  • Fuku, happiness - Belly well-being

Fuku is a new treatment from Suisen that focuses on the belly, the"center of the body and energy" and frees it from bad vibrations. It focuses on the solar plexus and hara region. During a head and neck massage, the belly is relaxed by the benevolent warmth of a natural seed cushion. A shiatsu of the belly is then performed, where gentle pressure, effleurage and vibrations are accompanied by deep and relaxing abdominal breathing. This treatment allows to free oneself from"these inconveniences while restoring the energy circulation in the whole body".

How about a moment of relaxation, folks?

Please note that it's been over 4 years since our last visit, so the place and experience may have changed.
