While everyone buys a bouquet as if it was a simple take-away meal, it’s very pleasant to rediscover a store where we love moving around picking up flowers, decoration items or even having a seat for a cup of tea in the winter garden.
BOYA is the new flower concept store designed by Yan Mao – a passionate surely born in a flower so much that everything related to flowers enchant her. Indeed, in her store, you don’t only find flowers or plants, but also a multitude of items displaying flowers. Vases, cards and other original jewels are available.
The place covers two stories. On the ground floor, we have the lovingly-decorated store in a muted atmosphere. In the middle of the aisle rules a wonderful selection of flowers – not the often-asked-for classics but suiting the taste of the florist herself. That way, BOYA often provides atypical and original flowers. In the back, bargain-hunted objects are displayed while in the entrance, small succulents and selected items are welcoming us with open arms.
On the first floor, we have the winter garden where – bigger – plants have their own area. Deckchairs and small tables are available for a nice break reading a book about floral design while sipping a cup of tea.
In other words, if you like flowers or if you just feel like hanging around or if you are looking for an original bouquet, BOYA could be a good idea.
Please note that it's been over 4 years since our last visit, so the place and experience may have changed.
