Koché is the arty fashion brand whose name we remember! The label offers a line that mixes streetwear and couture, and already seduces many artists. Pieces to buy online or at Galeries Lafayette Champs Elysées, Printemps, Bon Marché, or at L'Eclaireur, L'Insane or Tom Greyhound.
Founded in 2015 by Christelle Kocher, the Koché brand wants to be like its creator: authentic. The cultural mix and the mixture of genres are at the heart of the collections. For this Saint Martins School graduate, who has worked in Milan, Antwerp and New York (for Bottega Veneta, Dries Van Notten or even Chloé and Martine Sitbon), travel and cultural differences are the basis of creativity.
A fertile ground that gives birth to an ultra-creative wardrobe, where you can find classic sportswear revisited like the jersey or polo shirt, as well as high-waisted pants, sequined dresses or colorful coats. All cut in materials and colors that make the difference.
Popular and aesthetic, the brand wins in 2019, the grand prize ANDAM (National Association for the Development of Fashion Arts), which gives a deserved boost to the development of Koché. The various collaborations initiated with Nike, Paris Saint Germain or La Redoute also contribute to give it a good visibility.
Speaking of women, minority communities, and putting meaning and emotion at the heart of the aesthetic approach, such is the challenge of Christelle Kocher. We particularly like the short films produced by the brand which highlight the spirit of Koché: open, mixed and inventive!
With this particularity of organizing fashion shows in unusual places such as the Casino de Paris, an RER exit or a passage in the 10th arrondissement, Koché pursues its desire to democratize fashion by taking it out of its usual setting, so that all creativities can reappropriate it.
Organized at theAccorHotels Arena in Bercy, the latest Fall-Winter 2019-2020 show plays fully with the codes of sport, a nod to the women's soccer world cup. You can see some images on the brand's website, so you can replay the game ... before going to try in store!
