Among the labels on the calendar for Paris Fashion Week 2024 is Chanel, the iconic fashion house founded by Coco Chanel in 1910. This leading fashion designer left her mark on the world of fashion, unveiling pieces that were both elegant and comfortable. Karl Lagerfeld was Artistic Director, maintaining the spirit of Coco Chanel while adding his own distinctive touch. The tribute show at the Grand Palais following his death in 2019 presented his last collection in a mountain village and moved the public. His right-hand woman, Virginie Viard, will carry on the torch until her departure at the beginning of June 2024. This new Haute Couture collection is presented by the Chanel studio, pending the arrival of the next artistic director.
