Founded in 1996, Astier de Villatte soon became the den of tableware fans, collectors and inspired passersby. The location is shared by word of mouth, praising the handmade quality and unique piece. Among the best-sellers, handmade ceramic plates designed in a workshop in the 13^th arrondissement, inspired by 18^th century Paris factory traditions, piling up on the ground floor. Not far from there, the famous ring cups by Serena Carone, whilst the shelf across is used as an altar for Cologne, cosmetics, incenses and scented candles.

A lovely prelude before discovering the upper floor, a room entirely devoted to Christmas from mid-October to late December, you can get to by climbing up an old wood staircase. There, in an Ali Baba’s Cave live multiple Christmas bulbs made of blown glass and hand-painted. Genuine treasures brought back from Russia, Germany, and Hungary. From fashion to food, and celebrities, landmarks and even animals, each theme comes with a series of bulbs! Great gems, super personalized, sold for an average from €5 to €60.
