It's time to get your hidden treasures out of the closet and give them a second life! "House of Catawiki", the first event of the eponymous digital auction house, will take place at 3537 in Paris on April 15, 2023. A unique opportunity to have your items appraised for free by professionals, to benefit from personalized sales advice and to discover the fantastic universe of the famous online platform!
For one day only, take part in free customized valuation sessions, with a photo of the object in question or of the object itself. Take the opportunity to admire the exceptional pieces, usually hidden behind your screens, exhibited for the first time in this private mansion in the Marais. A rare drawing by Pablo Picasso, Amy Winehouse's library, an iconic 1973 Renault Alpine or a Birkin bag from the luxury House of Hermès, 3537 will be the scene of an immersive exhibition of more than 60 rare and unusual objects, available for auction by scanning a QR code.
A selection ranging from Salvador Dali's lithographs and Andy Warhol's drawings, to luxury pieces such as a Cartier necklace or a unique Audemars Piguet watch, will delightart and jewelry enthusiasts. Sports enthusiasts will be drawn to a T-shirt signed by Zidane, and collectors will salivate over a rare Pokémon card or even a drawing by Hergé published in the Journal Tintin.
In parallel, Catawiki invites five French artists, among the most trendy of the platform, to exhibit their most stylish creations to the event's public. Painting, sculpture, photography, design, natural stone carving and illustration will be on display alongside extraordinary objects!
If you too dream of having a treasure in your home, try your luck!
