Les Puces de l'Illu 2025: the contemporary illustration festival at the Campus Fonderie de l'Image

Photography, painting, sculpture: art fairs and festivals showcase different mediums. At the Campus Fonderie de l'Image in Bagnolet, illustration takes center stage! Discover the 13th edition of Les Puces de l'Illu, France's leadingcontemporary illustration festival. This free exhibition takes place on the weekend of December 6 and 7, 2025. Organized by the graphic and digital design school, the festival brings together professionals from the world of illustration and independent publishing every year, as well as those who are simply curious and would like to find a one-of-a-kind work of art!

The program includes meetings with nearly 130 exhibitors: illustrators, printers, tattoo artists, publishers, independent booksellers... There will also be conferences, round tables, book signings, workshops and exciting exhibitions on the theme of images. Once again this year, the Musée en Herbe will be offering a workshop area dedicated to young audiences !

During this 13th edition, various prizes will be awarded to deserving artists. To discover new gems, come and meet the winners of the Grand Prize for Contemporary Illustration, the Youth Illustration Prize, and the Student Illustration Prize. Whether they are renowned artists or young talents, this is an opportunity to shine a spotlight on innovative illustrators.

This free exhibition is open to professionals and art lovers, families and curious visitors alike. For one weekend, all styles and worlds of illustration will be in the spotlight: don't miss this event and reserve your free place!

Saturday, December 6

• 10:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.: Screen printing workshop

Discover the basics of artisanal screen printing with the FWELLS Workshop! After a short introduction and a few test prints, you will move on to practicing on the new Puces de l'Illu poster. A fun and creative workshop to learn about this iconic printing technique and leave with your own screen-printed poster, printed by you!

• 2-4 p.m.: Drawing, Tattoo & Manga Workshop 

Explore the world of drawing and tattooing through the manga style! In this creative workshop, participants will discover how the graphic codes of manga inspire modern tattooing. Between sketching, creating designs, and learning transfer techniques, everyone will be able to bring their own drawing to life.

• 2-4 p.m.: Ink & Stencil Workshop - The Art of Tattooing in Action 

Immerse yourself in the world of tattooing with a workshop combining artistic performance and hands-on participation! Go behind the scenes of a professional tattoo booth, chat with the artists, and watch a live creation: three tattoo artists will work together to create a tattoo on the same back, a collective work of art. Then take part in the stencil workshop: learn how to prepare a design and understand the basics of applying it to the skin.

• 4:30 p.m. - Parade presented by AICOM, the School of Singing, Theater, and Musical Theater

Sunday, December 7

• 2-5 p.m.: Youth workshop 

For little ones... and big ones who are curious! The Musée en Herbe, a Parisian museum dedicated to art for all, has been offering exhibitions and fun workshops for over 40 years to introduce children to creativity and artistic discovery. During this workshop, young participants will have fun drawing, gluing, painting, and inventing in a friendly and colorful setting.

• 5:00 p.m.: Announcement of Winners - Illustration Prize

For several years now, Campus Fonderie de l'Image has been celebrating creativity through three awards. The winners will be announced at the end of the day, bringing the event to a close in style and saluting the work of all the participating artists!
