While the Mondial du Tatouage will make its return to the Grande Halle de la Villette in March 2018, tattoo enthusiasts will be able to wait it out thanks to Paris Tattoo Ink: the capital's first floating tattoo show.
Taking place aboard the Compagnie des Bateaux-Mouches on Saturday, September 9 and Sunday, September 10, 2017, the event is likely to attract some curious onlookers.
And with good reason, Paris Tattoo Ink will bring together some of the biggest international names in tattooing. Japanese master Horinori, for example, will be coming especially for the first time to France.
The convention, hosted by Pascal Tourain, will also welcome photographer Masato Sudo and ethnologist Yoshimi Yamamoto, as well as Stéphane Chaudesaigues, president of the association Tatouage et Partage.
Among the tattoo artists, you'll find Yago the bear, Tery Do, Kalil Moktar, Carlos Mille, Patrick Fauconnier, as well as Arabelle Fauconnier, Kalie Kaiser, Dina Von Candy, Barbara Rosendo, La Comtesse de white church....
In addition to getting tattooed by the masters of tattooing, visitors can also discover Masato Sudo'sphoto exhibition, attend lectures on the origins of Japanese tattooing, take part in concerts, admire Japanese prints, and enjoy the various stands (barber shop, rockabilly clothing, piercing equipment...).
