Arab Week will take place at UNESCO on November 4 and 5, 2024, to bring Arab culture and its diversity to the general public. This free event will highlight a rich heritage through a wide range of activities open to all, subject to availability. To learn more about literature, language and education in Arab countries, there will be seminars and conferences, as well as a pavilion dedicated to Arab music, with performances and the chance to admire a wide range of instruments.
It's also an opportunity to pick up a whole host of unique objects in a typical souk at the stands of participating countries, while interactive cultural showcases will enable visitors to observe the visual and traditional arts of the Arab world. The program also includes workshops, a fashion show featuring traditional costumes, a culinary evening to discover new flavors, a calligraphy competition, craft demonstrations and exhibitions of Arab heritage sites and works by Arab artists.
