This symbolic gesture is made on the occasion of an international conference, organized at Paris City Hall, in which Palestinian and Israeli peace activists offer testimonies and ideas for bringing peace to Gaza.
This international meeting aims to promote reconciliation, justice and conflict resolution through discussion and non-violence. To mark this event, the Eiffel Tower is also broadcasting this message of peace, in French, Arabic, Hebrew and English.
The Paris conference is organized by Les Guerrières de la Paix, a French women-led organization that fights against " all forms of hatred. "
