If you regularly use public transport in Paris and the surrounding area, then you've probably noticed the increasing number of underground works in recent months. This spring alone, disruptions are expected on lines 5, 6, 9, 10 and 14. And the list is getting longer, as RATP is also announcing forthcoming traffic disruptions on line 12.
In detail, trains will be at a standstill on line 12, between Concorde and Montparnasse stations, on Saturday April 19 and Sunday April 20, 2025, all day long. The aim? To replace"track circuits", says the Régie Autonome des Transports Parisiens on its website.
Over the weekend, no fewer than 6 stations on line 12 will be closed to passengers: Assemblée nationale, Solférino, Rue du Bac, Sèvres-Babylone, Rennes and Notre-Dame-des-Champs.
As a result, Concorde station will become the temporary terminus when arriving from Mairie d'Aubervilliers. Conversely, Montparnasse-Bienvenüe station will be the temporary terminus from Mairie d'Issy.
Another closure has been announced for metro line 12 in April. On Sundays April 13 and 27, 2025, traffic will be interrupted on the entire line in the evening, from 10 p.m. until the end of service.
During these disruptions, RATP is inviting passengers to adapt their journeys, and in particular to give " priority " to the N°94 bus line, which will be " reinforced ", as well as metro lines 1 and 13.
