Since the beginning of 2025, major underground work has been underway to modernize the Paris and Ile-de-France public transport network. After lines 2, 3, 6, 9 and 14, it's now the turn of line 10 to announce various disruptions due to construction work.
In detail, RATP is announcing that traffic will be completely interrupted for six weeks in a row, from March 17 to April 29, 2025. However, this total closure of line 10 will only take place in the evening, from 10pm onwards, Monday to Thursday. During the day and at weekends, trains run as normal, and all stations are served. On the other hand, no trains will run on metro line 10 from 10pm Monday to Thursday, between March 17 and April 29, 2025.
To help you get there, you can take RER line C or metro lines 6, 9 or 12.
Other disruptions are expected on metro line 10. Train traffic will be interrupted between Duroc and Boulogne - Pont de Saint-Cloud stations for one week, from May 5 to 11, 2025 inclusive. For the duration of the work, which will involve renewing the switches and crossings at Porte d'Auteuil and replacing the rails between Michel-Ange - Molitor and Boulogne - Jean Jaurès stations, Duroc station will become the temporary terminus of line 10.
A total of 13 stations will be closed from May 5 to 11, 2025: Boulogne - Pont de Saint-Cloud, Boulogne Jean Jaurès, Porte d'Auteuil, Michel-Ange Auteuil, Église d'Auteuil, Michel-Ange Molitor, Chardon Lagache, Mirabeau, Javel - André Citroën, Charles Michels, Avenue Émile Zola, La Motte-Picquet Grenelle and Ségur. Please note that a replacement bus will be running to these closed stations.
In particular, this work will enable the deployment of the new MF19 trains. Line 10, which runs between Boulogne - Pont de Saint-Cloud and Gare d'Austerlitz, will be the first to welcome the new MF19 metro. This new-generation metro is scheduled to enter service at the end of 2025. In addition, " certain infrastructures and station equipment will need to be adapted ", explains RATP, adding that " this new rolling stock means that several elements essential to the smooth running of trains, from power systems to signalling equipment, will have to be brought into line ".
