Our planet still hides many surprises in its soil, and the Salon des Minéraux, Gemmes, Bijoux et Fossiles du Pays de Fontainebleau et Moret is an opportunity to discover some of them, brought to light by collectors and enthusiasts! For this first edition, the town of Champagne-sur-Seine, a few kilometers from Fontainebleau, will welcome the curious from November 1 to 3, 2024, to allow them to admire crystals and fossils from all over the world and from a sometimes distant past.
From Alpine quartz to Spanish sphalerites, from Cambodian brown zircons to Auvergne amethysts and fossils from Haute-Provence, these treasures are sure to take you on a voyage of discovery through the diversity of our French soil! Take advantage of the expertise and passion of our exhibitors, who will be showcasing unique pieces as well as mounted stones and jewelry to suit all budgets.
You'll also be able to celebrate with a pop-rock concert on the theme of nature, featuring Sydonie Millet and Pierrick Armand from Radio Jumbo. The program will also include a demonstration of gold panning by gold prospector Cyril Calvayrac, a discipline that has left such an indelible mark on our culture. A show that will serve as a reminder that man's existence on Earth is nothing, and that 30 million years ago, the ocean was just outside Fontainebleau!
