A tattoo parlour waiting for us in a velodrome? Now that's unusual. And not just any velodrome, since it's the Vélodrome National, located in Montigny-le-Bretonneux in the Yvelines department, that you'll have to visit to discover live works by tattoo artists of all styles: from realism to neo-traditional, including pointillism and Japanese pieces. The show, open to amateurs and enthusiasts alike, promises a wide variety of worlds to help us understand what makes tattooing a true art.
Highlights include encounters with renowned artists such as Chimé, one of the pioneers of Polynesian tattooing in France, who shares over 30 years of experience with us. He'll be joined by Fabien Warner, a young prodigy of neo-realism, and the charismatic Cervena Fox, both tattoo artist and burlesque performer. His show promises to add a touch of glamour to our weekend, as do Julie Prévost 's pole dancing performances and the DJ set on Saturday night.

The show isn't just about tattoo demonstrations: there will also be competitions where tattoo artists compete against each other in impressive creations, from large scarred pieces to small graphic flashes created on the spot. For the more curious among us, it's the perfect opportunity to see works take shape before our very eyes, chat with the artists, and maybe even go home with a unique tattoo!
But that's not all. The Salon International du Tatouage also showcases solidarity initiatives. In particular, the Sœurs d'Encre association will be on show, offering reparative tattoos to help women recover from cancer. Proof that tattooing can also convey values of support and solidarity.
This first event at the Velodrome in the Yvelines region promises to be a weekend rich in discoveries, with spectacular performances, encounters with internationally renowned artists, and a festive atmosphere throughout the two days. Whether you're a novice or an ink enthusiast, this show is the ideal opportunity to immerse yourself in this artistic universe and celebrate together the diversity and beauty of tattooing.
Admission is €15 in advance, €20 for a weekend pass and €17.50 on site. Admission is free for children and teenagers accompanied by an adult, and half-price for people with reduced mobility. Don't forget to buy your tickets in advance for the best deal.
