The Paris Podcast Festival returns for its 6th edition under the theme "Staying tuned", on October 13 and 14, 2023, at the Gaîté Lyrique. This eagerly-awaited event celebrates the art of podcasting, offering the public a panoply of activities; from live recordings to previews, roundtables to hands-on workshops, all while including a day dedicated to professionals. With a rich program, the festival offers the chance to take a trip with Les Baladeurs, explore intimacy and relationships with Sophie-Marie Larrouy & La Chamade, or delve into societal themes such as mental health and inclusivity in sport.
The days of the festival are carefully organized to serve creators and listeners alike. Friday kicks off with the Paris Podcast Festival Pro morning, from 8am to 1pm, exclusively by accreditation, and centered around the presentation of the study"Les Français & le podcast natif". The afternoon, reserved for creators, features masterclasses on writing fiction, documentaries and music composition for podcasts, and a workshop on participatory financing in collaboration with Kiss Kiss Bank Bank. The day will close with a grand Apéro des créateurs & créatrices with Amazon Music, enabling exchanges and networking in a convivial atmosphere.
Saturday is dedicated to listeners, whether enthusiasts or novices. It features public recordings, previews and headphone listening to podcasts in the studio. Children are also catered for, with a workshop specially designed for them. What's more, sessions in the Grande Salle and Auditorium will be accessible for a modest fee of 5 euros, while other sessions on the second floor remain open to the public.
