This year, the famous daily Libération celebrates its 50th birthday... And an anniversary like that is cause for celebration! That's why, to mark the occasion, what better way than to immerse ourselves in the lives of our readers? And so, on November 11, 2023, the newspaper will take up residence at the Philharmonie de Paris - Cité de la Musique for Les 24h de Libé. During these 24 uninterrupted hours, the editorial team will prepare its edition live, in the presence of the public. The event will be punctuated by a host of activities, to the delight of readers. The idea is simple: unfold the newspaper, from front to back, and bring each section to life.
The Les 24h de Libé festival is a true immersion in the world of the press. Over the course of the festival, twelve narrators will take to the stage to tell small stories that, when put together, illustrate the larger story. These singular tales are positioned between world events and those of the newspaper, offering a unique perspective on the role of the press over the decades.
For those wondering exactly what to expect, here's a glimpse of the program you'll find on site:
Combining past, present and future, Les 24h de Libé at the Philharmonie de Paris promises to be a not-to-be-missed event for all journalism and culture enthusiasts. An opportunity to better understand the mission of a daily newspaper while celebrating its rich history and future challenges. So, shall we book our tickets, folks?
