Édouard Baer returns to the Théâtre Libre stage with his show Le Journal de Paris. Playing at the theater from June 25 to 29, 2024 for five exceptional dates, the show is not really a one-man show, as Édouard Baer surrounds himself with other artists on stage.
Le Journal de Paris was a great success in 2023 at the Théâtre de la Porte Saint-Martin, with an extension of the show at theThéâtre Libre . In 2022, the comedian had performed his show Les élucubrations d'un homme soudain frappé par la grâce, in which he paid tribute to famous writers such as André Malraux and Romain Gary, by reprising their texts. In his new show, premiering in 2023, ÉdouardBaer is accompanied by other artists on stage, whose names he is not revealing. In his show, he will bring to life a whole gallery of characters he has crossed paths with in his life. Be prepared to see singers, dancers and even jugglers. Le Journal de Paris is almost like a theatrical cabaret.
Édouard Baer, who started out as a columnist on Canal +, came to the attention of the general public following his famous monologue as Otis in Alain Chabat's Asterix and Obelix in 2001. Over the course of his career, he has made a string of films as both actor and director, most recently Farewell to Paris, as well as numerous plays, both as actor and playwright. An already impressive career, with more to come.
