The Visa pour l'image photojournalism festival takes over the Grande Halle de la Villette from September 16 to 30, 2023! A unique retrospective of the past year with the world's greatest press photographers, free of charge.

Created in Perpignan, the international photojournalism festival arrives at La Villette for its sixth edition. Visa pour l' image is one of the major events of the fall season in Paris. This free event, open to all, is a veritable window on the world, offering a snapshot of the most significant news stories of the past year. Society, politics, the environment, major cultural and sporting events: the whole of the French and international year unfolds before our eyes.

Once again this year, the Visa pour l'image festival is coupled with the International Journalism Festival. Professionals and news enthusiasts come together to debate, discover and understand world events.

Both events take place from September 16 to 30, 2023 at La Villette. For this new edition, a special program is planned throughout these weeks. These include a large-format photo exhibition in the Parc de la Villette. Other free events are also being organized, with bookings required.
