This winter, tattoo lovers and enthusiasts will meet in the 12th arrondissement of Paris for the first edition of the " Patutiki Kakiu " festival. To be discovered at theEspace Reuilly from February 10th to 12th, 2023, this event immerses visitors in the art of the Marquesas tattoo, but also in the culture of the beautiful Marquesas Islands, located in the Pacific Ocean. As an integral part of the French Polynesia archipelago, the Marquesas Islands are often dreamt of thanks to their postcard-like landscapes. However, few people really know the Marquesas culture.

The " Patutiki Kakiu ", proposed for the first time in Paris, is the perfect opportunity to discover the different facets of this culture, starting with the art of ancestral tattooing, the famous " Patutiki Kakiu " in Marquesan. For three days, the Espace Reuilly opens its doors to tattoo enthusiasts, but also to visitors curious to learn more about the heritage, material and immaterial culture of the Marquesas Islands.
