Discover the culinary heritage of the Val d'Oise at the Salon de l'Agriculture

Do you know the fruits, vegetables, cheeses and beers of the Val d'Oise? The department of Ile de France awaits you at the agriculture show for tastings, sales of products and workshops!

The cherries of Montmorency, the most prized in Paris in the 18th century, the asparagus and figs ofArgenteuil, the cabbage of Pontoise... Until the beginning of the 20th century, more than one Valdois commune had its own agricultural specialty.

Did you know that agricultural land represents more than 55,000 hectares, i.e. 50% of the departmental territory? The Val d'Oise Department works alongside the agricultural world to preserve biodiversity, promote our territory and local production, and raise awareness among residents of the challenges of tomorrow's agriculture. Nearly 15,000 fruit trees have been planted in recent months in the region with the support of the department.

Today, one can still taste good local products: mushrooms and honeys, fruits and poultry, vegetables and goat cheese. During the Salon de l'Agriculture, you will be able to discover 100% Valdois products - soda, lemonade, beer, apple juice and other juices, gingerbread, nougats, candies and lollipops - but also meet and discover the producers present on its stand, including the Champignonnière de la Marianne, the Cueillette de Cergy, the Brasserie du Vexin, the Clos de l'Isle, Bee Api Vexin, Bee Flow, Topinamour and the Ferme de la Distillerie.
