Salon de l'Agriculture 2024: free events for children at the Educational Farm

This year, the Salon de l'Agriculture falls right on the February 2024 vacation season, from February 24 to March 3. It's time to (re)discover one of Paris's must-see shows, and spend the day with the family!

The Salon de l'Agriculture is the perfect way to discover animals, farmers and other professionals from the world of agriculture, for almost a week (as long as you don't lose your children in the crowd). It's also the perfect time to sample the specialities of France's regions and overseas territories, or to take part in the free activities for children!

If you're coming to the Salon de l'Agriculture, it's impossible not to stroll down the many aisles where you'll come across all sorts of breeds of sheep, ewes, pigs, cows... We'll pay a visit to Oreillette, the mascot cow and real star of this 2024 edition of the Salon de l'Agriculture, and then take a tour of the Ferme pédagogique, where all the species present at the show can be found. It's also an opportunity to chat with passionate breeders and veterinarians on site, to find out all about your favorite animals. There's also the not-to-be-missed Chèvrerie, pony christenings and the donkey village, dogs and cats...

With the whole family, it's time to taste and savour the specialities of our beautiful French regions (or of the whole world), to feast on the traditional dishes of the French overseas territories, or to learn everything there is to know about farming techniques! On the entertainment side, there are the traditional competitions organized as part of the Concours Général de l'Agriculture, which rewards the show's most beautiful animals, as well as a whole host of games and discussions on the Educational Farm or at the stands. So, from February 24 to March 3, we're looking forward to seeing you at the Show, where you and your family can discover all the secrets of agriculture!
