After last weekend's incredible success, with over 3,000 visitors, the "Made in Japan" pop-up continues for a second weekend of Japanese madness! For 10 days, the Mercato Bolivar boutique is transformed into a Japanese concept store. An ideal place to discovertraditional Japanesecraftsmanship and vintage, or to hunt for unique, authentic pieces steeped in history. It's also a place to meet and exchange ideas, with workshops, events and a Japanese-style café offering a selection of street food, sandos and matcha lattes...
On the program:
Japanese flea market by Koji :
The famous Koji will be present with his Japanese brocante treasures. Decorative items, small furniture, Kokeshi dolls, sublime ceramics, fashion and authentic kimonos ... even mini versions for kids!
Vintage and upcycled kimonos :
Saaya, with its Obisme brand, presents its creations of antique kimonos revisited in jackets, dresses and accessories, as well as a selection of haoris direct from Japan.
Vintage Skajan Japanese jackets:
Hiroco will be presenting a selection of beautiful vintage sukajan "souvenir jackets".
Tech and culture :
Manga must-haves and Japanese pop culture galore, retro electronics, Japanese posters, imported Japanese video games, figurines...
You'll also be able to unearth nuggets from among 2,000 Japanese vinyl records ...
Japanese floral art:
The sunny terrace will host an incredible selection of kokedama by Rie (Dream in Green).
Food :
The Coffee shop will be completely revisited in Japanese street food mode with "Yataï by Mercato". On the menu: matcha, of course, but that's not all! Japanese teas, ultra-soft sando for lunch, Japanese cocktails as aperitifs...
