It's game time! The French will have to keep up the momentum from their match against Scotland to try and bring the cup home. After their terrible defeat in the first match against Ireland, Les Bleus have no room for error in this third match! The answer on Sunday, February 25, 2024: the XV de France face Italy in the Six Nations Tournament. And we'll be there in front of our TV sets, tuned in to France 2 from 4pm!
If France loses this match, their hopes of winning the tournament are over, and the Grand Slam has been out of reach since the first match. The XV de France is not at full strength for this tournament, with a number of key players injured or busy elsewhere, and coach Fabien Galthié has to deal with this. His line-up against Italy is very similar to that of the second match, with only two changes: Poloso Tuilagi starts for the first time and François Cros replaces Grégory Alldritt, captain of Les Bleus, who has forfeited the match. As captain, Charles Ollivon and his 41 caps take over!
