After a perfect opening match against Wales, with a score of 43-0, the XV de France has made an ideal start to its 2025 Six Nations Tournament. But to do so, they'll have to face England with the same vigor, this Saturday, February 8, 2025, at 5:45pm this time. Join us live on France 2, at home or in the bars of Paris, to push together during the scrum!
Six Nations Tournament: Grand Slam, wooden spoon, crunch... What do these terms mean?
Rugby is a fascinating sport... But for the uninitiated, it can be quite opaque. To make it easy to follow the Six Nations tournament, here are the terms you need to know. [Read more]
Ranked third, just behind us, in last year's Six Nations, England are a tougher opponent than their predecessor, even if France have been better in recent encounters. Despite their 39 victories in the tournament, the XV de la Rose hasn't won since 2020, and won only against the Japanese in their last matches in 2024, unlike Les Bleus, who have won almost everything, notably against the All Blacks.
This time, no point should escape Les Bleus, still under the guidance of Fabien Galthié, with the return ofAntoine Dupont, freshly crowned Olympic medallist, to avoid finishing second for lack of points. A maximum of tries is therefore expected to score the bonus point and keep the lead until the end of the competition, in the hope of winning the tournament!
