Want to see the best of European rugby? The Six Nations Tournament is back until March 16, 2024. For the first match of the competition, the French take on Ireland, looking to make a successful entry into the illustrious competition, by making their mark (and scoring points).
The XV de France begins the Six Nations Tournament at home, but not at the Stade de France, which is unavailable before the Olympic Games. Rendezvous this Friday, February 2, 9pm, at Marseille's Stade Vélodrome, a match to be followed on France 2. A high-level opponent, who left the last competition, the Rugby World Cup, at the same level as Les Bleus, i.e. in the quarter-finals.
After an exceptional Grand Slam two years ago, Les Bleus are determined to go one better than last year, and not miss out on a single point that could prove decisive right to the end of the competition. The French, frustrated by their home defeat, have only one objective: to win the Tournament. They will need to win by a landslide if they are to climb to the top of the standings at the start of the competition.
