Once again, Paris-Saint-Germain face a season that could have been much better. Yet the year had started well, with a fine team on the pitch, a new coach and a large number of unbeaten games. But from January onwards, everything went off the rails with the elimination from the French Cup and the Champions League, and less effective performances from the players. As a result, Christophe Galtier, Messi and Ramos will be leaving PSG after this final match of the year against Clermont.
Last summer, the departure of Mauricio Pochettino made way for Galtier, continuing the series of coaches who change every year at the club. And it's not going to stop this year, as the Frenchman also leaves the bench. A new and exceptional mercato is on the horizon, and many players are expected to follow it, in order to renew the squad.
While Mbappé has announced that he is staying, much to the delight of fans, Paris-Saint-Germain this week announced the departure of Sergio Ramos, who was thought to be ready to extend his contract. As for Lionel Messi, Galtier told a press conference that Saturday evening would be his last match with Paris-Saint-Germain.

As for Christophe Galtier's successor, rumors of Zidane were quickly dismissed this year, but the names of José Mourinho and Luis Enrique are on everyone's lips. The latter seems the most likely, according to PSG Community: "Luis Enrique is expected in Paris in the middle of next week. He has won over Doha. For several days now, he has been working on the Parisian mercato".
