France has been aware of their first opponents for FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 since April 2022: Australia, Tunisia and Denmark, within the Group D. Sure to be first of their group, thanks to the first two and victorious games, France faced off Poland during the round of sixteen, then England for the quarter final, despite a difficult game. In semi-final, France faced off the incredible Moroccan team and managed to get a 2-0 win. The competition ends this Sunday afternoon, with the final opposing France to Lionel Messi’s impressive Argentinean team!
Whilst the competition started on Sunday November 20, 2022, in a difficult context, it is hard to know where to attend France’s games as the city of Paris has been boycotting the World Cup. Fortunately, supporters can rely on television to attend the game on December 18, 2022, at 4 p.m. (CET).
There is no fanzone this year, but plenty of bars, pubs and restaurants broadcasting France’s and some major games. Before we all meet on the famous Avenue des Champs-Elysées!
