Imagine running through the heart of ZooSafari Thoiry , between wild animals and forest paths, at the first light of dawn. This is the exceptional experience offered by the Thoiry Morning Wild Race, scheduled for January 21, 2024.
There will be two distinct events in this race : one accessible to experienced runners with a 10 km course, and a second more suitable for young athletes aged 6 to 10 with a 1 km course.
The start for the 10 km is at 8.00 am, after a warm-up at 7.15 am. The start for the 1 km is at 10.00 am, with a warm-up at 9.45 am.
Registration costs €39 for the 10 km course and €25 for the 1 km course. A reduced rate is available for holders of the ZooSafari Thoiry Annual Pass. Registration is open until December 31, 2023.
The route of this 2024 edition is particularly attractive. It will pass through Thoiry Zoo and the surrounding forest avenues, with a spectacular finish in front of the magnificent 16th-century château.
By lining up at the start of this sporting adventure, every participant will be helping to support an environmental cause. Each ticket purchased will donate €1 to the"Thoiry Conservation" association, dedicated to the protection of endangered species.
To continue to surprise, this 2024 edition reserves a new feature: a semi-nocturnal course. Lovers of running and unusual experiences should find what they're looking for.
