On Saturday September 2 and Sunday September 3, 2023, during the Traversées du Marais, artist Florence Doléac invites you to spend a weekend by the sea... From the Maif Social Club. So, to get you through the back-to-school season and back on vacation for a day, we're off to discover this unusual and playful installation in the heart of the Marais.

Ballooon sur mer is an invitation to make your own use of the installation: to climb it, to sink into it for a break, to plunge into it as if into the sea, to dream with your feet in the sand... Although we don't have a visual of the final version of the work, we can nevertheless imagine it, with its reliefs composed of coloured balls of different sizes, its surfaces and nets, evoking the ocean, the beach and the ambiance so familiar to seaside vacations. The giant sculpture comes to life as you move: those who need to let off steam will be delighted, while those looking for a place to relax will be equally enthralled. So it's off to the seaside for a weekend from the Maif Social Club on Saturday, September 2 and Sunday, September 3, 2023!

During the rest of the day, you can also attend story readings, borrow a book from the Maif Social Club library to browse through on the premises, listen to music, sleep - in short, take your time on this very first weekend of September 2023.
