A lovely surprise for the super-hero’s fans… Warner Bros. have announced on their official website to throw a Bat-Signal in the sky in several capitals across the world – including Paris – on September 21, 2019 for Batman’s 80th birthday.
The comics character created by Bob Kane and Bill Finger in 1939 will also be the main attraction of several events on the occasion of this special birthday. On the menu, interactive photoshoots, concerts and even games as well as many surprises not yet announced by DC Comics and Warner Bros. Children and parents who are fans of the Dark Knight will have the pleasure to discover exclusive Batman goodies during these festivities thanks to some partners such as LEGO, Mattel and Funko.
Program for Batman's 80th birthday:
Let's run to the Champs-Elysées Galeries Lafayette to discover the famous righter of wrongs' mask on the façace and the replica of the famous Batmobile created in 1989 by Tim Burton displayed until September 22. Note that you can enjoy a rum baba inspired by Batman, the Bat-Baba by Stohrer made with vanilla, lime, lime whipped cream, the whole topped with dark chocohlate Batarang.
For the birthday of the cape and bat-mask-wearing justice-maker, the traveling exhibition The Art of the Brick©: DC Super Heroes is said to be back in Paris with a Batman-special edition, after touring São Paulo, Brazil in September 2019.
And many other surprises to discover such as a race and other conventions... In other words, September will live at the same time as Gotham City and the billionaire hero improving with time – proof of it with the new and always young iteration of Batman.
