The journalist began his career making documentaries about scientific expeditions and wildlife. These experiences led him to create his own program, J'irai dormir chez vous, which has been broadcast on the Voyages and Canal + channels since 2004. Since 2021, episodes have also been broadcast on RMC. In this show, the journalist travels alone, with three cameras, and his aim is to get invited into the homes of people he comes across. Prior to this show, Antoine de Maximy was a war reporter during the Lebanon and Iran-Iraq wars.
In his show, presented for the first time in 2023 at the Festival d'Avignon, Antoine de Maximy looks back on the extraordinary adventures he has had during his many travels and reports. His show is illustrated by film extracts that retrace his world tour.
