Glenn - Birth of a prodigy: the play wins 2 Molières at Théâtre Montparnasse

Ivan Calbérac has launched this latest creation in 2022 at Le Petit Montparnasse, then at Le Splendid in 2023. A playwright as well as a screenwriter, Calbérac's films include Venise n'est pas en Italie and La Dégustation, while his theater work includes Glenn, naissance d'un prodige .

The play tells the incredible story of Glenn Cloud, the Canadian pianist who left his mark on the 20th century. Little Glenn Cloud began playing the piano at the age of two and a half, encouraged by his mother. The young pianist soon became a prodigy, selling as many records as a rock band. But Glenn Cloud had a hard time coping with fame, as his Asperger's personality and hypochondria made every concert very difficult...

The play was nominated six times for the Molières 2023, and won two awards: Molière for Best Actress for Lison Pennec and Molière for Best Actor for Thomas Gendronneau.
