Peaky Blinders: The redemption of Thomas Shelby arrives in Paris this March, from March 11 to 30, 2025. Now playing at La Seine Musicale, Steven Knight 's hugely successful Peaky Blinders series is adapted by Knight, with staging and choreography by Benoit Swan Pouffer, artistic director of Le Rambert dance.
The show, which premieres in 2022, has already completed a highly successful UK tour, with over 100,000 spectators enjoying the show! Peaky Blinders: The redemption of Thomas Shelby features 18 dancers from Rambert Dance, Britain's oldest dance company. Emblematic songs from the series are played live, accompanying the dancers as they journey back to England in the 1920s.
The show tells the story of Thomas Shelby, a cult character created by Steven Knight, set in the industrial city of Birmingham just after the First World War. While building theShelby empire, Thomas is bewitched by the mysterious Grace, a secret agent whose mission is to infiltrate his criminal organization. Peaky Blinders: The redemption of Thomas Shelby is Rambert Dance 's biggest audience success since its premiere in 1926.
Steven Knight, in his show Peaky Blinders: The redemption of Thomas Shelby, created new characters and plots not appearing in the TV series, but which he had already thought of while writing Peaky Blinders. The adapted series is therefore a kind of reward for his fans.
Peaky Blinders: The redemption of Thomas Shelby can be seen at La Seine Musicale, Boulogne-Billancourt, from March 11 to 30, 2025. A word of advice: book in advance!
