Hello Dolly! the famous English-language musical extended at Lido 2 Paris

Good news! Hello Dolly! has been extended on the Lido 2 Paris stage until February 4, 2025. The musical, adapted from the American play The Merchant of Yonkers by Thornton Wilder, presents a new interpretation of the leading character Dolly Gallagher Levi in English with French subtitles. Since the musical's first performance in 1964 with Carol Channing in the lead role, many great celebrities have interpreted the role of Dolly Levi.

The musical Hello Dolly! tells the story of a professional matchmaker, played by singer Caroline O'Connor, who travels to New York to find a companion for a grumpy but very wealthy bachelor by the name of Horace Vandergelder. While dealing with other people's love affairs, she realizes that it may finally be up to her to find true love. Dolly Levi 's famous story plunges us into the heart of a love affair, on the stage of the Lido 2 Paris.

Hello Dolly! isn't just a love story, it's a real adventure! The musical features musical numbers and choreography carefully crafted by Nigel Lilley for the music, and Stephen Mear for the staging and dancing. The costumes, meticulously crafted by set designer Peter McKintosh, should also win you over.
