Cirque Le Roux is part of the contemporary circus scene, blending theater, cinema and, of course, circus. Founded in 2014, by Lolita Costet-Antunes, Grégory Arsenal, Philip Rosenberg and Yannick Thomas, the company creates tragi-comic and dreamlike works.
Their first show created in 2015, The Elephant in The Room, gathered over 50,000 spectators at Théatre Bobino and was performed over 400 times worldwide, that same year. His second creation, La Nuit du Cerf, a sequel to their first show, was nominated for the Molière for Best Visual Creation in 2020. And today, how would you like to go shopping and then follow it up with a show in the same place? That's what Cirque Le Rouxproposes with its show Entre Chiens et Louves, back for a second season in September 2024, after having seduced over 20,000 spectators in 2023.
The Cirque Le Roux company has been invited to appear several times on well-known television programs such as Le Plus Grand Cabaret du Monde, Yann Barthès 's Le Quotidien , the Cérémoniedes Molières at the Folies Bergère and Michel Drucker 's Vivement Dimanche , for the originality and singularity of their shows, which are a cross between cinema, circus and theater. This contemporary circus company will continue to surprise you from September 12 to December 31, 2024 at Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche.
