The musical Black Legends, a tribute to black American music of the 20th century, returns to Paris at the Théâtre Bobino from November 14, 2024 to January 5, 2025. Don't let the grey Parisian winter get to you, and discover the musical that has already won over 200,000 spectators!
Comprising 36 tableaux, this musical plunges you into a century of history in music, and pays tribute to Black Americans in their quest for rights and freedom in the 20th century. On stage, young and old alike will discover 14 singers and dancers and 6 live musicians, performing some 30 songs. Gospel, jazz, soul, disco, funk, hip-hop, R&B, rock'n'roll and Nina Simone to Prince, Ray Charles to Michael Jackson, Billie Holiday to Beyoncé, Marvin Gaye to James Brown: there's something for everyone in Black Legends at the Bobino .

Black Legends retraces the extraordinary journey of African-American music, while highlighting its historical context marked by hardships such as slavery, racial segregation and social struggles.
