It’s not because star choreographer Benjamin Millepied left the management of Paris Opera that he forgot France and Paris. With his Los Angeles-based company, the L. A. Dance Project, he’s coming back to the French capital and at Théâtre des Champs-Elysées to present three pieces including one performed for the first time in France;
Yag is a piece for 4 dancers created by Ohad Naharin, head of Israeli company Batsheva Dance Cie, fallen into L. A. Dance’s repertoire in 2017. The creation is based on sensations entailed by interprets’ movements.
