After the success of Les Aventuriers de la Cité Z, it's now the turn of L'incroyable histoire de l'île mystérieuse to cause a sensation! This show, directed by Cyril Gourbet and freely adapted from the works of Jules Verne, runs at the Grand Point Virgule until September 3, 2023.
In 1942, while France is occupied, a mythomaniac swindler fights for survival in the world of the black market. One eventful night, thinking he's exploring a cellar of fine Burgundy wines, he comes face to face with Louise de Talleyrand, a young resistance fighter held captive by the Gestapo. After managing to escape, she reveals to the man the reason for her arrest: she alone knows the location of "Boyuca", a legendary island believed to harbor a considerable treasure: the secret of Immortality. United, the two heroes must face countless dangers to reach this mysterious island, braving the perils that stand in their way.
No fewer than 17 characters are featured in this play, offering a real immersion in the jungle, reminiscent of the Indiana Jones saga or Jurassic Park! Be warned, however, that the monsters here are more than realistic ...
