In this adaptation and interpretation of 24h in the Life of a Woman, Anna Martinet and her director, Juan Crespillo, propose a sober staging, with few props to focus on the beauty of the Austrian author's text. Their aim is to create a staging that serves the text of Stefan Zweig's short story as accurately as possible.

Written in 1927, 24h in the Life of a Woman is part of the collection Confusion of Sentiments. Stefan Zweig is said to have been inspired by the Princess of Salm's epistolary novel Twenty-Four Hours of a Sensitive Woman, published in 1824. This is not the first time the novella has been adapted for the stage, having first been adapted in 1990, then in 2012 and 2015. Anna Martinet's play can be seen until January 4, 2025 at La Folie Théâtre in the 11th arrondissement.
