TheArboretum of Versailles-Chèvreloup offers you the opportunity to learn more about these little creatures that are essential to the proper functioning of nature, from April 22 to November 5, 2023, during a special tour among the 2,500 trees of this committed site.
This open-air exhibition allows you to walk in the heart of nature, on 1,6km, while discovering the diversity of the insects that work at the Arboretum. Yes, if they are not employed, they serve to maintain the biodiversity of this ecosystem, alongside the gardeners, by pollinating flowers and shrubs daily. Educational, the tour is based on models, 3D models, macro photos and collection objects, as many fun and interactive devices to appeal to all audiences, including children. An immersive experience will bring them into contact with pollinating insects!
This is an opportunity to understand the process of pollination, to visit their different artificial and natural habitats and to discover hives and nests from the Museum's collections! You will be able to participate in the exhibition to help find solutions to preserve these species, which are threatened in cities and the countryside all over the world. Come and support the butterflies, beetles, flies, bees and other insects attracted by the flowers that populate the Arboretum of Versailles-Chèvreloup!
