Attentioncontemporary art lovers! This autumn, for the second time, the town of Saint-Ouen in Seine-Saint-Denis is staging a group exhibition at its famous ice rink, an unusual, symbolic and listed site designed by Paul Chemetov.
Following on from " Urbain de Paname ", the exhibition features the installation " Liquide Liquide ". On view from October 14 to November 19, 2023, this artistic and cultural event unveils contemporary works by emerging and established artists on a single theme: water.
Visitors to the " Liquide liquide " exhibition will be able to immerse themselves in the cycle and ecosystem of this vital resource, which is also the primary use of the Saint-Ouen ice rink. Thanks to the works of invited artists, spread over 2000 m², art lovers will also discover the double meaning of liquid, synonymous with money.
Part of Art Basel's "Paris +" event, the " Liquide liquide " exhibition will feature works by Jean-Marie Appriou, Patrick Bailly-Cowell, Daniel Dewar and Gregory Gicquel, Binta Diaw, Michael Elmgreen and Ingar Dragset, Kraken, Fabien Léaustic, Robin Meier and Ali Momeni, Juliette Minchin, Régis Moussa, Peybak, Linda Sanchez, Edgar Sarin and Bill Viola.
To top it all off, chef Thierry Marx will be offering a catering service throughout the exhibition.
With this new cultural event, the town of Saint-Ouen aims to breathe new life into its famous ice rink, which is set to become an educational, cultural, festive, social, ecological and family venue.
